Dr. Ruth Stafford
VMD
A native of upstate New York, Dr. Stafford earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from Tufts University in 1981. Upon graduation, she lived and worked abroad, where she gained a variety of work experiences that inspired her to pursue a career as a veterinarian.
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989, Dr. Stafford worked in diverse settings, from rural Idaho to downtown Chicago. Drawn to Montana by the abundant outdoor activities, the straight-talking natives, and the wholesome quality of life, she and her husband moved to Bozeman in 1997.
Dr. Stafford is devoted to promoting the powerful human-animal bond and the special relationship that exists between people and their pets. Her professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and senior wellness care. She has more than thirty years of clinical experience.
Outside of work, Dr Stafford enjoys spending time with her family and as much time as possible outdoors, skiing, biking, and hiking.
Dr. Loni Odenbeck
DVM
Dr Odenbeck is a Montana native, growing up in Butte, Montana. She spent much of her childhood exploring the wilderness of Southwest Montana. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, Animal Systems Option, with Honors from Montana State University in 2003. While attending her undergraduate studies, Dr. Odenbeck was involved in clinical pathology research on bovines. She received an Undergraduate Biomedical Research Grant to support this research. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2007. While pursuing her DVM, Dr. Odenbeck was involved in a variety of research projects, including those on Tuberculosis in guinea pigs and pain scoring in dogs. She also worked as an Emergency and Critical Care Assistant at CSU’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital throughout her junior and senior years of school.
After veterinary school, Dr. Odenbeck worked primarily as a small animal veterinarian, with occasional equine cases, at a progressive mixed animal hospital in Belgrade, Montana. In 2008, she joined a group of veterinarians in forming Pet Emergency & Trauma Services in Bozeman, Montana. This was the first of its kind in Southwest Montana. She was involved in the formation of the business, the early years of management of the business, and she worked as an associate Emergency & Critical Care Veterinarian. She served on the Board of Directors for several years.
Dr Odenbeck has a special interest in ultrasound, echocardiography, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, advanced dentistry, and the human-animal bond. She has received extensive training in ultrasonography, echocardiography, cardiology, and advanced dental procedures. She enjoys working with local and regional specialists to come up with personalized, progressive, and compassionate options for difficult disease cases. Dr. Odenbeck is a member of the Montana Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the International Veterinary Ultrasound Society.
In her spare time, Dr. Odenbeck enjoys spending time at her cabin with her family, as well as mountain biking, paddleboarding, hiking, skiing, rock climbing, scuba diving, and traveling the world in search of adventure and discovering new places. Members of her furry family include two high-maintenance Silken Windhounds, as well as two orange tabby cats. The youngest of the family and the special needs member of the family is a Silken that was born with no eyes, so it is 100% blind. It does not slow her down a bit, though. She runs like the wind, fetches cat toys, enjoys life, and is the protector of the house.
Dr. Jessica Matlock
DVM, MPH
Dr. Jessica Matlock spent her childhood in Augusta, GA, where she first fell in love with horses at the Cutting Futurity, and her teenage and college years in Boone, NC, in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. She majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry at Appalachian State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors in 2010. While in college, she decided to merge her love of science and medicine with her love for animals and pursue Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tennessee. However, she didn’t want to leave the world of human health completely behind and pursued her Master of Public Health, with a veterinary concentration, while also pursuing her doctorate. While in veterinary school, she was involved in student government and various club leadership roles, while also volunteering to help with the low-income monthly veterinary clinic hosted by the vet school and social work graduate program.
After completing her doctorate in 2014 and her masters in 2015, Dr. Matlock began working as a mixed animal veterinarian in Knoxville, TN. She loved working with a wide range of animals, from horses, cows, and pigs to dogs, cats, and hamsters. She eventually ventured out on her own to open her own mobile mixed-animal clinic, while also working as a small animal veterinarian in various clinics throughout East Tennessee. She also worked as a small animal emergency vet for several years during this time. In 2022, she and her husband, Nathan, moved to Rapid City, SD, where she continued to work as a small animal veterinarian. In the Fall of 2024, she transitioned to shelter medicine and helped build a shelter veterinary program from scratch for the Humane Society of the Black Hills.
Dr. Matlock loves the challenge and variety that veterinary medicine brings. She loves taking on complex medical cases, helping an older animal regain comfort and function, resolving problems with surgery, helping responsible breeders continue to preserve genetics, helping set up rescue animals for a healthy life, and walking beside owners as they take care of and make decisions for their animal family members.
She and Nathan have always loved Bozeman and were excited when they both had the opportunity to take jobs in the area. They have a young son, JP, and can be found hiking, camping, fishing, riding their horses, and exploring the outdoors whenever they get the chance. Their current “zoo” includes two Australian Shepards, a Beagle mix, a Ragdoll, and two Quarter Horse mares.
Dr. Logan Peterson
DVM
Dr. Peterson was raised in Sidney, a rural community in eastern Montana, where she developed a lifelong appreciation for animals and the people who care for them. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Montana State University, then went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University, graduating in May 2025.
Throughout her veterinary training, Dr. Peterson cultivated a strong interest in preventative care, internal medicine, and client education. She completed externships in both small animal general practice and rural mixed animal clinics, where she gained experience in everything from routine wellness to emergency care. As a pet owner herself, she understands the emotional side of veterinary care and is dedicated to supporting families through every stage of their pet’s life.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Peterson enjoys hiking with her fiancé and their dog, playing pickleball, and traveling to visit her nephews. She’s excited to be back in Montana serving the community that helped shape her.
Dr. Lauryn McDowell
DVM
Lauryn McDowell grew up here in Bozeman, MT. She graduated from Montana State University with a bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology. Dr. McDowell completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University in 2016. Her background in wildlife enabled her to work with a wide variety of wildlife and exotic species during her veterinary training, from Sea lions to African lions, and everything in between.
Before joining the 360 team, Dr. McDowell practiced here in the valley as a small animal and equine practitioner. Her professional interests include general practice and preventive medicine, with special interests in oncology, dermatology, and comprehensive pain management, including alternative modalities such as acupuncture.
Dr. McDowell and her husband enjoy spending as much time outside as possible. They love taking their two dogs, Yoshi and Gage, hiking and camping in the summer, then skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. In her spare time, she also enjoys photography and riding her horse, Ziggy. A foster fail black kitty named Harold rounds out the menagerie.
Dr. Madison McCann
DVM
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. McCann earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the College of William & Mary and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her clinical year at Oregon State University.
Her lifelong love of animals inspires her dedication to treating companion pets with skill and compassion. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, running, and skiing with her husband and their rescued island dog, Cayon.
Dr. Chris Kenyon
DVM, CCRT
Dr. Kenyon grew up near Chicago and spent much of her early life in the Rocky Mountains and northwest Ontario. She earned her Biology degree from the University of Puget Sound and her DVM from Colorado State University in 2008.
Before veterinary school, she worked extensively in wildlife biology, including large-carnivore studies in Glacier and Yellowstone. Joining 360 Pet Medical in 2010 and becoming a co-owner in 2015, Dr. Kenyon specializes in pain management, geriatric care, orthopedics, and sports medicine.
Certified in veterinary acupuncture and canine rehabilitation, she has published research on sled dogs and volunteers as a race veterinarian in Montana and Wyoming. She has also traveled to Africa with Working Dogs for Conservation to improve medical care for service dogs.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Kenyon loves horseback riding, hiking, skiing, biking, and paddleboarding.
Dr. Parrott – Chiropractic Specialist
Dr. Parrott partners with our veterinary team to provide expert chiropractic care designed to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall comfort. With a focus on the musculoskeletal system and spinal health, Dr. Parrott uses gentle, precise adjustments to support recovery, performance, and long-term wellness for pets of all ages.
Dr. Layne – Dermatology Specialist
Dr. Layne works closely with our doctors to diagnose and manage complex skin, coat, and ear conditions. Through advanced dermatologic testing and targeted treatment plans, Dr. Layne helps pets find lasting relief from allergies, infections, and chronic skin concerns — restoring both comfort and confidence for pets and their families.
