360˚ Pet Medical’s Response to COVID-19/Coronavirus
We know you have been inundated with updates and messages from companies you frequent and wanted to ensure we also proactively communicated with you, our valued clients, about steps we are currently taking to address COVID-19/Coronavirus situation. In an effort to do our part to minimize person-to-person interaction in closed spaces, we are proactively implementing some practices that will allow us to remain open and available to you and our patients.
Effective Monday, March 16, we ask that all clients with appointments for their pets please call us upon arrival and wait in their vehicles for one of our staff to come outside to bring your pet in the hospital for exam/treatment. Our staff will be dressed in PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), so please do not be alarmed…this is for your and their protection. Our doctors and staff will take medical histories, discuss treatment plans, and do follow-up conversations over the phone to minimize person-to-person physical interaction.
For clients needing to pick-up prescription food or medications, we ask that you also please call us from the vehicle. We will be happy to set these items outside for you to take or bring them to you. Clients may call the clinic and make payment over the phone. We are investigating other payment alternatives in an effort to be as accommodating as possible, and will announce those once they are in place.
We encourage clients whose pets need non-essential treatments, or wellness appointments (that are not in need of rabies vaccinations), to consider delaying those appointments for the next couple of weeks. In addition, if we are seeing your pets, we encourage you to share with us if you are experiencing symptoms.
As medical professionals, we feel responsible to act as community leaders and adjust our daily practices as proactively as possible, just as we did during the outbreak of canine upper respiratory contagion a couple of years ago. This is even more the case with COVID-19. Please bear with us as we work to assimilate the evolving information and its impact on our business.
Please watch your email, our social media, and our website (www.360petmedical.com) for updates.
Warm regards,
Loni Odenbeck and Christine Kenyon, DVMs and owners of 360˚ Pet Medical
