360 Pet Medical is dedicated to providing the best care possible for your pet. We understand that that surgery can be a time of high anxiety for our pet parents. We are committed to providing a reassuring and compassionate experience for you and your pet. Your pet will receive the highest quality care from our team of trained veterinarians, specialists, including board-certified surgeons, nurses, and critical care experts.
Surgeries (soft-tissue/spays/neuters/etc.) are done in our state-of-the-art surgical suite equipped with electro-cautery and a heated surgical table. All surgical procedures consist of pre-anesthetic blood work, safe anesthetic protocols tailored to each pet, constant anesthetic monitoring (EKG, pulse oximetry, and temperature) by a veterinary technician, and hospitalization for the day---or even overnight care at PETS--depending on the procedure performed.
At 360 Pet Medical, we are able to offer advanced veterinary orthopedic surgeries, such as Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO), a surgery that has become one of the most popular orthopedic surgeries performed on dogs who have torn their ACL. Through our partnership with Dr. Jim Perry, board-certified veterinary oncologist and orthopedic surgeon, we are able to provide a variety of surgical options, including TPLO, arthroscopy, medial patellar luxation repair, etc. Dr. Perry regularly visits 360 Pet Medical to conduct consultations and perform surgery on-site. Patients who undergo TPLOs at 360 Pet Medical with Dr. Perry also receive the benefit of a complimentary post-surgery rehabilitation appointment with Dr. Christine Kenyon, our certified canine rehabilitation specialist. In this way, we are able to offer comprehensive care for patients diagnosed with major orthopedic problems.
Dental disease is one of the most common problems older dogs and cats face today. It will affect 80-90% of all animals at some point during their lives. Dental infections can spread to the heart or other organs causing irreversible damage or even death, which makes dental care a must have to ensure the safety of your pet. Dr. Loni Odenbeck, Dr. Dawn McDonald and Dr. Ruth Stafford, have a special interest in and extensive training in advanced dental procedures. Some of which include: bonded sealants (sealing of uncomplicated tooth fractures to prevent pain, infection, and protect the tooth), closed root planing, application of Doxirobe gel (to slow the progression of periodontal disease), radio-frequency cautery to oral mass removals, and tooth extraction. Additionally, our doctors train and consult regularly with local dentist, Dr Tony Woodward of Montana Veterinary Dentistry.
Eye surgery also known as Ocular surgery, includes surgical procedures on the eye or the area immediately surrounding it, including the eyelids. A variety of procedures can be performed on-site at 360 Pet Medical. These include eyelid mass removals, laceration repairs, removal of abnormal eyelashes, etc.
At 360 Pet Medical we provide oncologic surgical options, which is the removal and management of tumors in your pet. Our approach to pets with cancer includes a complete health assessment so that pet owners can make the most educated decision about treatment options.
The pets' quality of life is of great importance to our team at 360 Pet Medical, and we work hard not just to extend the life of the patient through treatment but to improve the quality of life and alleviate suffering.
